Production Standards

Fabrication

All welders employed by A J Metal Products Ltd are qualified to documented, third-party approved weld procedures. Weld consumables are continuously monitored and all prime materials are sourced from EEC notified bodies, with full material traceability maintained throughout.

Our welding procedures are developed and approved to the relevant codes of practice to ensure the highest standard of production across all vessel types and specifications.

Our working procedures are fully documented with a computerised production system ensuring that current drawing versions are always used. All equipment calibration records are maintained and readily accessible to clients.

Each vessel is supplied with a comprehensive documentation package, giving clients full traceability from raw material through to final test certification.

Inspection & Testing

Comprehensive hydrostatic testing and non-destructive examination capabilities, carried out by PCN and ASNT qualified technicians, with full third-party witness certification available.

Hydrostatic Testing

Pressure testing with third-party witness certification available. Full documentation provided.

X-Ray (Radiographic)

Weld integrity assessment using radiographic non-destructive testing techniques.

Magnetic Particle Detection

Surface and near-surface defect detection on ferromagnetic materials.

Ultrasonic Testing

Internal flaw detection and material thickness measurement using ultrasonic methods.

Dye Penetrant Analysis

Surface defect detection for non-ferromagnetic and ferromagnetic materials.

Qualifications
